Some encouragement!

Posted by Ken Bradbury on 03/20/2005

It was 4:30 p.m., downtown Paris, one of the kids in my group told me she'd lost her passport and the embassy was to close at 5...AND we were leaving town the next day for the Alps. I hailed a taxi, told him that I'd pay double to get to the embassy in 15 minutes. It was pure Keystone cops...literally driving up on sidewalks with pedestrians scattering...We screeched to a halt in front of the embassy, indentified ourselves, and were then handed the missing passport which had been turned in earlier that day. Viva la France!
