WHERE TO STAY IN VENICE

Posted by JULIAN MOSELEY on 09/26/2005

Dear Marlene

If you go to this link: http://europeforvisitors.com/venice/articles/venice-cruise-terminal.htm you should find some useful info about the ports of Venice, but I would recommend that you stay in Venice proper, near the train station maybe. Personally I would recommend the Hotel Basileo as we have used it for our groups and they all liked it. Otherwise the Venice Lido would be a good option too and I would recommend the Hotel Riviera which is near the pier. Hope this helps Julian MOSELEY
