Britain-Ireland trip

Passports put together a wonderful trip for us, with time spent in London, Killarney and Dublin. Our hotels were clean, comfortable, and in really great locations, our courier was patient, efficient and flexible, our buses were clean and comfortable, and the tours were well planned.

One note for people planning travel to London (and this is probably equally true of time spent in any large city): despite the fact that you will sometimes have a tour bus available, because of traffic problems and parking availability, you and your participants will be making use of mass-transit and will also be seeing a great deal of the city on foot. Your participants need to be aware of this, and should know that they will have to keep up with the group, often in crowded, hectic surroundings. European tourist destinations are not ADA compliant (there are no elevators in the Tower of London), and people with limited mobility will have a hard time keeping up. Another note, for travelers in general: tell your participants to limit themselves to one medium-sized suitcase and a carry-on, and then advise them to pack these only to 80% capacity. We had several people (including me) go with full suitcases, only to find that they had no room for the souvenirs they wanted to buy.
