Spring trip to Italy

Denise-

We had an awesome trip in the spring of 2005 to Venice, Florence, and Rome with excursions to Assisi, Pisa, Padua, Verona, Tivoli, and Pompeii. The weather was very temperate and we only had 1 day of rain during the course of 12 days. If I were to do the trip again, I would definitely have it tied to some course on art. I did a number of pre-trip "Trip Talks" but could only skim the surface of what the students would be seeing. I would also spend more time in Rome. We jammed a whole lot into little time. Much too exhausting! As far as traveling with kids, it's a wonderful experience. The more you can anticipate, the better off you will be. I always tell the kids that traveling is an adventure and you never know what will happen. You just have to roll with the punches, so to speak. Please feel free to email me if you have any specific questions.([email protected])Take out the spam! Carole
