Spring trip in Italy

We traveled to Italy and Switzerland in 2005 and had a great experience. One thing to be aware of - if your spring break is around Easter realize that the country of Italy more or less shuts down that weekend. Because of that, we rearranged our tour so that we started in Switzerland and then went to the Italy part of the trip after the Easter weekend.
