Walking

To anyone who has traveled to Venice, Florence and Rome with passports:

How much walking is involved in the walking tours with Passports? I need a realistic estimate. I traveled with EF this summer and what they consider moderate walking averaged about 6-8 miles a day at a frenetic pace most of the time. Even my students were exhausted. Thanks
