European ATM

I've never had any problem with that in any city to which I've traveled in Europe. I've taken money from ATMs in airports, on the streets, in hotels. I'd say merchants and banks in Europe want our money so they'll do anything to keep our pin and chip technology compatible. Recently Europe did catch up with the idea of charging Americans a fee to use their machines. Before that we could withdraw Euros and only had to pay our home bank fee. And I always remind travelers to remember ATMs I've used there need pin numbers and not words. I learned the hard way my first time in Paris when I tried to use the word
