Dear Kathy, Shawn, and Dale
Please know that my visit to Costa Rica was a true treasure for me. I have always wanted to go to
Central America because of all my years of teaching Spanish (35) and reading about the things I saw on
this trip. I am truly grateful to Passports for giving me this opportunity to see things I have studied and
seen in books and video. Seeing them in life seriously enhanced their value to me.
Even though I did not zip line or walk the swinging bridges, I enjoyed every minute of being there,
especially spending time in Santa Elena in the shops and eating at local cafés and talking in Spanish with
the people of the area. El Establo could not have been more enchanting. The view from my room (903)
took my breath away. I am sure my bed had ether in it!!!
The Crowne Corobici in San Jose was wonderful also. Ron, Dianne, & I took a taxi tour of the city the
morning we left. It was so special. I loved every minute!
The food everywhere was delicious and the people were delightful. I now have a deeper
understanding of the lovely Pura Vida! Meeting the participants on the trip was a pleasure as well.
Thank you so much for this incredible experience. Passports always gets it right! And I always promote the company to those who need to know.
Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Hugs to all--Martha
